The Level 01 Sepaktakraw Refereeing Academy, offered by the Sri Lanka Sepaktakraw Federation (SLSTF), is designed to develop a new generation of referees who are skilled, knowledgeable, and committed to upholding the integrity of the sport. - Positioning and Mechanics Strategic movement and placement for optimal visibility and decision-making.
- Communication with Players and Coaches Techniques for maintaining authority, resolving disputes, and interpreting rules.
- Managing Substitutions and Timeouts Procedures for substitutions and time management during gameplay.
- Ball Handling and Play Continuation Identifying legal contacts, enforcing the advantage rule, and maintaining flow.
- Scoring and Scorekeeping Understanding the scoring system and responsibilities of match officials.
- Referee Etiquette and Professionalism Building rapport, handling feedback, and representing the sport with integrity.
